Plan for my digipack (one)
^ This is an image that I have taken for my possibly locations in order to look at a certain design idea. I'm not saying that this is the best photo for the design, or the best looking design, but for an idea it allows me to look at how certain imaged have to be placed in order to look as though they form the picture, not a jumbled puzzle.
This exercise has aided me because now when it comes to actually producing my digipack, I will be have first-hand experience at how not to make a digipack, so then when it comes to my final design, I will have the best possible digipack from my artistic knowledge (which should be somewhat better than this)

Analysis of a digipack from my Artist
All the Little lights:
A lot like the music advertisement, this digipack shares the same design, colour and typography which creates a link so audience members can understand and recognise the artist's merchandise. However, the digipack released by the artist included the acoustic versions of his songs on a different cd, which was different to the packaging of the original design used on the cd as well as the cover itself.
The bonus cd uses the colours pink and purple instead of the blues and greens seen on the cover, which shows connotations of the content of that cd to be softer than the rest of his album, which would make sense because it's an acoustic cd. The design of the shadow still stays the same which shows connotations of cd content to be the same as that of the entire album (meaning in this case the songs) which allows audiences to understand that it is still the artist's work, just an acoustic version.
The original cd uses the colours of green and blue which shows connotations to the audience that the artist is calm and that the content is relaxed and calm, allowing audience members to know what type of music they would be listening to. The shadow again stays constant between the design, however the shadow of the tress have 'little lights' in them which links to the title of the album, and also a track on the album 'All the little lights' which would allow the audience to recognise the artist's work when buying his album and any other merchandise which could be released.

Lyrics (Bloodstains)

I decided to set out an order for performance for my actors to understand which sections to learn. I chose this layout because this is the layout on the original tack, and therefore as I am using the original I needed my actors to learn the correct sections, otherwise when I came to post-production, I could be faced with problems, such as the male actor lip syncing to the females vocals. This has allowed me to be organised with regards to my actors, and will avoid any problems with the actors learning their scripts.

Pitch idea based on lyrics
As an exercise we were given a set of random song lyrics, and then asked to pitch how we would then show these lyrics if we were to then make a music video to the song.
This exercise will help me because it will give me some practice for my own chosen song because it allows me to then understand how lyrics are very important within a music video, and how I can use shots, locations etc..to reflect the lyrics in the most effective way.

The song is about how the artist is finding it hard to ask the girl out, and explains how he succeeded over time. This song is by Craig David 'Seven Days'

Music Art advertisement
The Music advert i have chosen is Ed Sheeran with his first album '+' from 2011
This will help me with my research as it has allowed me to look at a professional music advert poster, and therefore I can use elements of the poster on my own, for example, the placing of the text.
Music Advertisment Analysis
I have chosen Jack Penate with his album 'Have i been a fool' in '2007'
This will aid me when it comes to my own advertisement because I will be able to use elements of the one above in my own work, meaning that the ending outcome will hopefully look as though my work is professional in order to achieve the best possible grade.
