Analysis of a digipack from my Artist

All the Little lights:
A lot like the music advertisement, this digipack shares the same design, colour and typography which creates a link so audience members can understand and recognise the artist's merchandise. However, the digipack released by the artist included the acoustic versions of his songs on a different cd, which was different to the packaging of the original design used on the cd as well as the cover itself.

The bonus cd uses the colours pink and purple instead of the blues and greens seen on the cover, which shows connotations of the content of that cd to be softer than the rest of his album, which would make sense because it's an acoustic cd. The design of the shadow still stays the same which shows connotations of cd content to be the same as that of the entire album (meaning in this case the songs) which allows audiences to understand that it is still the artist's work, just an acoustic version.

The original cd uses the colours of green and blue which shows connotations to the audience that the artist is calm and that the content is relaxed and calm, allowing audience members to know what type of music they would be listening to. The shadow again stays constant between the design, however the shadow of the tress have 'little lights' in them which links to the title of the album, and also a track on the album  'All the little lights' which would allow the audience to recognise the artist's work when buying his album and any other merchandise which could be released.
